Behind the Lens with Chris Milosovich

Alive & Free’s College Prep class ventured up north to San Rafael to see life behind the scenes of video production with business owner and videographer Chris Milosovich of Milomix Productions. Housed in the complex that is home to the audio/video reproduction standard THX, our students were able to tour a special theater that is used to screen movies. They were even able to take a peak at the set-up of a popular TV show currently in production. Their interest in video production peaked even more when they learned Chris Milosovich created Alive & Free’s popular and touching student profiles videos. It was definitely a fun way to start Career Day.

Journey to the Operating Room with Dr. Andre Campbell

Alive & Free’s next stop took us to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital where we had an incredible meeting with Dr. Andre Campbell.  He gave us a candid peak into his life as a trauma surgeon who has saved many lives.  His humor and professionalism helped to make the dreams of working in a hospital attainable to our students.
