Welcome Supervisor Shamann Walton!

January 8, 2019 was an epic day for San Francisco. Omega Boys Club alum Shamann Walton raised his hand and was sworn in by Mayor London Breed as San Francisco’s newest Supervisor. The audience roared with applause and excitement and Shamann beamed with appreciation of being entrusted with the mantle of leadership in San Francisco’s District 10.

We remember our alum fondly and we have followed his ascent from collegian, to Executive Director of Young Community Developers, to President of the Board of Education to now City Supervisor. Congratulations Shamann! You are a strong role model for the community and an inspiration to our youth.
