Graduating College While Quarantined
It was just a really big change for me.College was a lot! You hear in Alive & Free meetings that getting into adulthood is different. It’s a change and you’re finding your identity. That was something I definitely struggled with. I changed my major, I had to deal with friends and family, and being away from home was a really big change for me.
I have to thank my parents. My mom was the one who pushed me to go to Alive & Free. She said, “You’re really going to learn a lot!”
I decided to try it out and I brought my best friend, J’dah Thibeaux. We both ended up sticking it through. It was a slight change because I didn’t think I needed it, but honestly, I think everyone needs Alive & Free. The Coachisms always resonated with J’dah and I when we were going through something and got us through college.
Thank you Alive & Free for the life lessons and for keeping me on my toes!
